NXTevent Receives SOMWBA Certification

Regional Boston, MA July, 2003 - NXTevent has sought and successfully obtained certification through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Office & Women Business Assistance. SOWMBA promotes the development of business enterprises and non-profit organizations owned or operated by minorities and women. NXTevent’s objective in obtaining the certification was to reinforce the company’s commitment to professional business practices, education, training, development and cultivation of enterprise for small businesses and women-owned businesses.

It’s a tough and intensive application process that requires history, organization and consistent reporting. “We initially sought the certification in order to actively participate in event opportunities with the Democratic National Convention coming to Boston in July, 2004. However, through the process of the certification, our eyes have been opened to the incredible opportunities the certification presents beyond the DNC. Not only will we be eligible for the Boston 2004 vendor certification, we will be able to effectively participate in diversity programs created by regional New England corporations.
