March 15, 2006, Boston, MA: Ranked by meetings and events planned in Massachusetts in 2004, NXTevent was named the 6th Largest Meeting & Events Planner and the Largest Gainer in number of events planned by the Boston Business Journal 2006 Book of Lists.

As the largest gainer in the Meeting & Event Planners category for the second year in a row, NXTevent had a 144.3% increase in events planned over the previous year.

NXTevent opened for business in 2001. In the five years of operation, NXTevent has planned events, meetings, and conferences for companies such as Astra Zeneca, Biogen Idec, GlaxoSmithKline, Progress Software, and WorldatWork.

The Book of Lists is an annual publication that statistically compares the leading companies and services in Boston in several industry categories.
